This new team of experts is committed to providing the company with a strategy to achieving the company's mission to be the top provider of unplanned medical care across the United States.

Meet the Executives
The company’s newest team of executive leaders are highly trained and experienced in a variety of high-end fields and life experiences from all over the world. With their diversity and combined skill sets, they will take Urgent Care Extra through the next major milestones in the company’s history.

Chris Hill, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
With over twenty years of experience in the Medical Service Corps as an officer in the U.S. Army, Chris Hill has extensive experience in executive healthcare leadership to contribute to Urgent Care Extra. He combines his experience in the military and civilian healthcare fields to provide unique perspectives and directions for the company.

Chris earned his MHA from Baylor University, his BS from Arizona State University and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. After retiring from the U.S. Army, he served in numerous operational and healthcare executive positions during his healthcare career. In the last decade alone he has served in various CEO and VP roles within the industry, including the National Surgical Hospitals, Iasis Healthcare and as CEO of both St. Luke’s Medical Center and Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital.

Chris is committed to the development of Urgent Care Extra by driving healthcare operations at the organization while involving himself in business development, joint venture development and cultivating company growth. When not leading Urgent Care Extra as a top emergency healthcare organization, he spends his time supporting other community organizations and enjoying time with his family.

Chris Flores, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Using two decades of financial management experience and a variety of chief and leadership roles in other organizations, Chris Flores is Urgent Care Extra’s leading Chief Financial Officer. He has gained extensive financial education and experience in the industry through life sciences companies, including positions as CFO and COO in the healthcare and hospital industries. He has specialized in financial operations, including joint ventures, company development and scalability of company operations.

Recently the Chief Financial Officer at Iasis Healthcare, Chris brings his professional experience to Urgent Care Extra to help it rise as the leading urgent healthcare provider across the nation. Prior to his years at Iasis, Chris has been an executive for a variety of other healthcare providers, including Lifepoint hospitals (at both Arizona locations), Abrazo Healthcare, AdvancePCS, Pathology Partners, Sun Health Care and more.

Michael Polite, Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Having completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Michael Polite is Urgent Care Extra’s Chief Operating Officer. With his extensive experience as a healthcare executive, Michael has successfully led both small and large healthcare organizations throughout the United States.

Brody Purser, Chief Business Development Officer (CDO)
The company’s newest Chief Business Development Officer, Brody Purser, brings in over fifteen years of industry knowledge and experience. He focuses on developing corporate initiatives, delivering business results, and leading the organization during critical moments of growth. Like the other executives in the company, he spends a great deal of his time and energy supporting his community and family when not working.

Steven Sawyer, MD, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)
Urgent Care Extra’s newest Chief Strategy Officer is Dr. Steven Sawyer, MD. Dr. Sawyer joins UCE as an accomplished Board Certified General Surgeon with a medical degree from Keck School of Medicine of USC. Having been in practice for over twenty years, Dr. Sawyer has experience running successful practices in the Colorado and Phoenix markets. He brings his expertise to UCE by driving the company’s strategies for current and future markets.
