Stanbridge College has received the 2015 Excellence in Student Services Award from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
Irvine, CA, October 31, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Stanbridge College has been named the recipient of the 2015 Excellence in Student Services Award from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The award recognizes an accredited institution that operates an outstanding student services program. Stanbridge College has also been recognized as a 2015 School of Excellence by ACCSC, which oversees 800 accredited institutions.
“We are pleased to receive this honor from ACCSC,” said Mr. Yasith Weerasuriya, President of Stanbridge College. “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication to student welfare shown by our Student Services team. Our goal is to prepare students for licensure and employment, and much of our student’s academic success is bolstered by the assistance they receive outside the classroom.”
In selecting the winner of the 2015 Excellence in Student Services Award, many factors are considered, including the comprehensive depth of the program, the significant and positive contributions of the program to student’s college experience, and how the program supports and enhances the school’s mission.
Stanbridge College provides students with a rigorous education and a comprehensive array of Student Services to help them graduate. To ensure each student meets and exceeds their goals, they are provided with a suite of comprehensive services from the first day of orientation, including a team of six full-time Student Services team members, extensive academic tutoring, mentorship programs, crisis counseling, a dedicated, full-time Academic Success Coordinator, access to a Learning Resource Center, financial literacy advising, and eight Career Service Officers.
Several programs extend past graduation, including the Alumni Service program, which hosts frequent networking events, as well as multiple continuing education workshops each quarter. The Stanbridge College Alumni Association aims to foster graduate success through access to a series of trending emerging practice area workshops, as well as ongoing networking.
Stanbridge College is home to several unique technological innovations for student training, including the world’s first high-fidelity canine patient simulator, the West Coast’s only synthetic human cadaver lab in an educational setting, and multiple world-class training and patient simulation clinics.
