Morton Grove’s Chamber of Commerce's Motto is "Ever Onward!"
While the country's clocks will be set back one hour on November 1st, Morton Grove’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry is looking ahead to echo their original 1926 motto, Ever Onward!
Morton Grove, IL, November 01, 2015 --(PR.com)-- It is said that sometimes you have to learn a lesson from the past to make the future better. That’s just what the Officers and Board of the MGCCI did one year ago when planning for 2015, and will do again in November to chart a course to help promote local business in 2016.
The goals set last year will continue and be expanded upon which include new members, expanded social networking, more networking events, joint seminars, fun social and fundraising events and support of local charities, all of which the Chamber successfully accomplished this year.
The Chamber will actively find ways to share the goods and services of their member companies with the greater community through an array of innovative and traditional methods. Look for the Chamber to expand their role as a gateway for the community. The Chamber's goal is make their village a great place to live, shop, work and play.
In November, the Board of the Chamber will spend a day at their annual strategic planning session. They will devote their time, talents and treasure to making the year ahead one that will continue to see the Morton Grove business community grow and prosper. They ask the community to help and support the Chamber by joining (if a local business) or deciding to use a member of the MGCCI when prospective clients and customers are seeking the goods and services their membership provides. Chamber President Jeannine Como added, "Success is not a destination, it is a journey!"
