Voting is Fierce to Determine the Best Beer in America
The best beer comes from America’s top breweries and beer lovers are passionate about which local brewery makes the tastiest lagers and ales.
Denver, CO, November 03, 2015 --(PR.com)-- After analyzing 800-plus American breweries, the upstart beer promotion organization America’s Best Beer, has narrowed the top breweries down to just a handful in each state. Using the results from the country’s most prestigious beer competitions and data from major online beer rating websites, a pattern of excellence emerged. The highest ranking breweries are listed on www.AmericasBestBeer.org and now the second stage of the competition begins, online public voting.
Voting continues through November 15, 2015 and the winners will be announced the following week. Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be distributed to the three top breweries in each state and Washington, D.C. The results will be available online and a hard copy map showing the best breweries in Americas will be given to the winners. The list of eligible breweries is at http://www.americasbestbeer.org/state.html.
“I remember travelling throughout Europe by train in college and the locals making fun of the lack of flavor and strength of American beer. Now in 2015, America brews the best beer in the world, hands down,” said America’s Best Beer founder Michael Johnstone. “But with over 3000 breweries, how is a thirsty beer drinker to know where the best beers are being brewed? I am confident that by combining power of big data with the distinguished palates of professional beer judges and the filtering of results through the power of good old American Social Media, the answers will be revealed. I was very surprised a large number of visitors from every state voting for their favorite brewery, Americans must really love their local brews.”
