Hustle Con, a Startup Conference for NonTechnical Founders, Grows from 300 to 3000; Moves from San Francisco to Oakland
Hustle Con is a startup conference for non-techies. They invite 15 of the most eccentric, creative, scrappy founders to tell their story and give practical advice on starting and growing a company to an audience of 3,000 entrepreneurs and startup nerds. 2016 marks the third Hustle Con. The event has grown from 300 to 3000 attendees in 3 years.
San Francisco, CA, November 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Hustle Con, America’s only nontechnical startup founder conference, is coming to Oakland on May 13, 2016. This will be the third Hustle Con to take place under founder Sam Parr, 26, in three years.
“You don’t have to know how to code to be an entrepreneur... you just have to know how to hustle.” – Sam Parr
Parr organized the first Hustle Con from his kitchen when he was 24. The event sold out in a matter of weeks with 300 attendees. Parr then teamed up with John Havel in January 2015, and together they put on Hustle Con for the second time. It sold out at 600 people, weeks ahead of the event.
The third annual Hustle Con will take place at the Paramount Theater in Oakland on May 13, 2016. Based on the previous years’ speedy sellouts, Parr and Havel have opted for the largest theater they can find in the Bay Area. With over 3,000 seats, the Paramount fits the bill.

Within the first 10 weeks of launching The Hustle, they have an open rate of 40%, which is double the industry standard. Over 40,000 people have subscribed, making it one of the fastest-growing newsletters in the country.
