Quantum Technology Sciences Partners with Centremis Security & Hosts Intrusion Detection Demo
Quantum Technology Sciences has partnered with physical security integrator Centremis Security to offer seismic-acoustic sensor technology for surveillance and intrusion detection. The companies will host a hands-on technology demonstration on November 11, 2015 in Columbus, Texas.
Cocoa Beach, FL, November 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Quantum Technology Sciences, an intrusion detection and physical security solution provider, announces an expert system integrator partnership with Centremis Security, a holistic security services company.
Quantum has enlisted Centremis to join its growing channel partner program. The Quantum Partner program selects integrators who are certified to sell, deploy and support the company’s products and solutions as a standalone technology, as a proprietary integrated solution offering or as a foundational element of a managed security solution.
To launch the partnership, Quantum and Centremis will host a technology demonstration in Columbus, Texas on November 11. The demonstration will address how Centremis uses Quantum’s unique seismic acoustic solutions to enhance physical asset security. The field/hands-on demo will feature detection, classification and alerting on both human footstep and vehicle physical intrusion and movement from significant distances outside an asset’s perimeter without line of sight or weather limitations.
Additionally, Quantum and Centremis will co-sponsor the fall Energy Security Council meeting taking place on November 12 in Houston, Texas. As sponsors, the companies will highlight the use of Quantum’s technology and Centremis services to identify and mitigate oil field theft to the largely oil and gas company audience.
“We are committed to engaging with the right channels at the right time, enabling us to solve bigger customer jobs together,” says Kevin Mikalsen, Quantum director of product marketing. “Centremis Security and its parent NMR Consulting add significant expertise and value in mitigating security, safety and operational risk to our shared customers.”
“Centremis is pleased to add Quantum’s real-time perimeter security solutions to our portfolio,” says Shawn Mahoney, Centremis Vice President of Global Operations. “We expect Quantum’s technology to provide the initial awareness of a potential event. Our customers will value the ability to classify and track the location and type of intrusion not only at and within a security perimeter, but well beyond, out to a more extensive awareness perimeter. With this expanded awareness zone, Centremis enables proactive security, where threats can be identified and more effectively deterred or neutralized before doing harm.”
Quantum’s technology easily integrates with tactical control center architectures. Its solution supports layered security protection platforms by cueing line of sight technologies such as cameras, radar or UAVs for further assessment and/or initiating proactive deterrence measures such as strobe lights or sirens.
The company’s Quantasphere commercial product line offers significantly greater detection ranges and lower nuisance alarm rates than are currently available on the market without needing a line of sight to an intruder, which prevents a threat from being obscured by weather, darkness, terrain, or other obstructions. For example, a walking threat is detected more than a football field away.
