Memphis Chapter of Public Relations Society of America Announces 2015 VOX Winners

Memphis, TN, November 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Memphis Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America presented its 2015 VOX Awards for excellence in communications on October 22. More than 125 public relations professionals and guests attended the Speakeasy themed event at Minglewood Dance Studio.

"The 2015 VOX Awards event was a tremendous success, and we could not have done it without our sponsors and the skilled PR professionals in our great city,"said Jonathan Lyons 2015 PRSA Memphis president. "We're already looking forward to and planning for next year's event."

For the second year in a row, Darrell Greene from FOX13 served as emcee to present 40 awards, including 19 Gold, 19 VOX and two Best in Show. During the event, attendees had the opportunity to take pictures in a photo booth, enjoy food from Ferdinand's Catering and listen to local singer and songwriter DJ Kris Acklen.

In addition to the awards, Kimberly Rossie of Youth Villages was named 2015 Professional of the Year.

"I'm honored to have been chosen for this award," said Rossie. "Having had the opportunity to work with and meet so many PR peers in Memphis over the years, I am humbled to be in this category."
