Axiomtek Introduces the NA580, a Powerful 1U Rackmount Network Appliance Based on the Intel® Xeon® E3/Core™ Processors

The network platform NA580 offers high processing performance through its LGA1151 socket Intel® Xeon® E3 or 6th Generation Intel® Core™ processors with an Intel® C236 chipset. This powerful network appliance supports up to 18 Gigabit LAN ports which allows system developers to configure their network solutions based on different performance requirements.
This advanced 1U rack mount network appliance is scalable, customizable and has great expansion capabilities. Through the PCIe 3.0, the Axiomtek NA580 can integrate up to 18 Gigabit Ethernet ports. The standard configuration comes with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports using Intel® i210 controller and supports 2 pairs of LAN bypass segments. Four DDR4 2400 MHz UDIMM sockets can provide storage up to 64 GB and support both ECC and non-ECC memory types. To enhance reliability, this SMB network appliance platform supports data protection via two pairs of latch-type LAN bypass functions for fail-over option and features BIOS console redirection. Axiomtek’s reliable yet flexible network appliance platform is suitable for a variety of applications including VPN, firewall and network security, network bandwidth controller, WAN accelerator, and surveillance systems.

The new 1U rackmount network communication appliance, NA580, features two internal 2.5” SATA hard drives and one CFast™ socket for extensive storage options. In order to address the various needs of network applications, this network appliance also features one console port, two USB 3.0 ports and a VGA port. The system also comes with an LCM activity indicator for convenient monitoring of power and HDD activity. This high network security appliance system also supports mainstream Linux operating systems.
