GigaTux Offers Turnkey Linux 14.0 on Its Linux VPS Packages
GigaTux is proud to announce the completion of its packaging programme to upgrade all Turnkey Linux distributions to the most recently released version, 14.0.
London, United Kingdom, November 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- GigaTux has been working with the Turnkey Linux team on completing its major packaging programme to offer Xen image builds of the latest Turnkey Linux release. This works with the DTC automatic installer that we use to manage GigaTux virtual machines. Each appliance can be installed by just clicking a couple of buttons and basic setup is configured automatically.
Turnkey Linux 14.0, based on Debian Jessie, is now available to all VPS customers in any of GigaTux's locations in London, Frankfurt, San Jose and Chicago. It is configured, as always, with sensible and secure defaults, and updates are performed automatically on the initial install and during regular use.
The latest Turnkey Linux release, after many months of development, builds upon Turnkey Linux 13.0 with a set of updated appliances, and some new appliances as well. Most appliances involve a web application being packaged up with sensible defaults, allowing for web applications to deployed in an automatic manner in a few minutes.
