Michigan Amber Alert Issued for Ebony Renee Foster (14)

Springfield, IL, February 07, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Battle Creek, Michigan State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 14-year-old girl they say was kidnapped from her Battle Creek home by an armed man who she knows. 

Police say Ebony Renee Foster was taken at midnight from the home, where she recently had moved to stay with her father. Police say the father was assaulted during the kidnapping. 

Police say the man was an acquaintance of the girl's mother, who lives in Detroit. The girl had previously lived with her mother. 

Ebony is described as black, about 5-foot-2 and 90 pounds and was wearing blue jeans and tall beige boots. 

Her captor is described as black, in his 50s, 6-foot-1, 170 pounds and wearing jeans. He was seen leaving in a burgundy Lincoln L-S with another man. Police say they may be heading to Detroit.
