TutoTOONS Hits 50M Game Downloads, Grew Tenfold in the Past 10 Months
TutoTOONS mobile game building and publishing platform has crossed 50 million game downloads, which is 10 times more than the startup’s last year results.
Kaunas, Lithuania, November 14, 2015 --(PR.com)-- TutoTOONS, free drag and drop mobile game builder and kids apps publisher, announced it has crossed 50 million game downloads, ten times more than the startup’s last year results.
TutoTOONS co-founder and CEO Mantas Kavaliauskas says that this number was reached faster than expected: “At the beginning of this year, we had only 5 million game downloads. We didn’t expect that our company results will rise so fast: in March we hit 10M, in June – 20M, and today we crossed 50 million. Next year we plan to at least double it.”
Company CEO Kavaliauskas adds that this milestone also belongs to all people who use TutoTOONS game builder for creating their own games. “Over 7 thousand people worldwide have already tried our platform, and over 300 artists are constantly building their own games with TutoTOONS. And not only artists – we have moms working from home and creating games for their kids, and teachers making games for school classes.”
TutoTOONS game builder lets artists and illustrators not only create mobile games without any coding but also make money from it. “We’re in game business together with TutoTOONS users. Artists can use our platform for free and get full support from our team. We publish the best games, promote them and share game revenue with their authors in half. So far, our best-selling game has earned €30K revenue and still adds €3,5K every month,” reveals Kavaliauskas.
As company’s CEO explains, artists only need to think up a game idea, create game graphics and build a game by dragging and dropping images to game scenes. TutoTOONS has most of its users in Ukraine, Russia, Italy and other European countries, Latin America and USA.
Based in Lithuania and Spain, TutoTOONS started its activities in early 2014. Since then, the team has released over 150 games, available on App Store, Google Play and Amazon.
