Current Events Announces Final Show Featuring Seaton Smith from Fox’s Mulaney and Nick Vatterott from Comedy Central

New York, NY, November 14, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Current Events with Jarret Berenstein, the monthly comedy news show that has run uninterrupted since July 2013 will deliver it’s final performance at the end of November. In its eighteen month run Current Events has gone up twenty six times at various theaters across the city and has featured over fifty comedians from Comedy Central, Fox, MTV, Letterman, Fallon and Conan. The last performance can be seen on Friday, November 20th a 7pm at The Magnet Theater (254 W 29th St) and will feature standup from Seaton Smith (Fox’s Mulaney) and Nick Vatterott (Comedy Central, Conan). Current Events is written and performed by comedian Jarret Berenstein, winner of the LA Comedy Festival's Best Solo Show Award, and creator of the viral sensation “Sex and the City for Dudes.” Berenstein's work has been featured in TimeOut New York as a Critics' Pick and he's done standup on Fox, at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and at the UCB Theater in New York. He is also a three time winner of Time Out NY's “Joke of the Week.”
