Kids Helping Kids Gives the Gift of Warmth

EAC Network receives generous donation of winter apparel for clients.

Hempstead, NY, November 15, 2015 --(PR.com)-- EAC Network has received a generous donation of coats and other winter apparel from Kids Helping Kids, By Kids Way, Inc. This wonderful nonprofit organization lead by Executive Director Bob Eslick was founded by his sons Robert AJ Eslick and Philip M Eslick in 1998 and aims to encourage philanthropy in young people. Kids Helping Kids held its Twelfth Annual “Making a Warmth of Difference” winter apparel program in which branded new winter coats, jackets, and fleece are received and donated to other nonprofits that help Long Island kids and families most in need.

“If we as Kids can teach the youth of America to help each other at such a young age, Kids Helping Kids, imagine what we can do for each other when we become teenagers and adults. After all, the youth of today is America’s future tomorrow. Kids Helping Kids-Making a World of Difference,” said Bob Eslick, Executive Director.

“Kids Helping Kids’ generous donations of winter coats to EAC Network has been putting smiles on our clients’ faces for several years. For many of our clients, a brand new warm jacket makes a world of difference during New York’s cold winter months. Thank you to everyone at Kids Helping Kids for making our clients’ lives a little brighter this season,” said Lance W. Elder, EAC Network President & CEO.

On November 7th, junior members of Kids Helping Kids gathered to pack winter apparel donations received by the organization for upcoming distribution before the cold winter months hit. In attendance was an inspirational kid, Gina Marie DiMartino, who is the honoree of their Kids Helping Kids “Making a Warmth of Difference” Benefit being held on December 10th at Oheka Castle. Gina suffers from a rare case of Plexiform Neurofibromatosis Type 1 in which benign tumors grow around peripheral nerves. Since 2004 Kids Helping Kids has been a strong supporter of Gina throughout her numerous treatments and has helped raise funds for her care. However, the eighth grade student has not let her condition stop her from helping others as she joined fellow Kids Helping Kids members pack winter apparel for other kids most in need.

EAC Network’s staff and clients are grateful for the donations it has received from Kids Helping Kids and truly appreciate the dedication and support the organization’s young members have given to ensure our clients have a happy and warm winter season.

Kids Helping Kids will be hosting its Holiday Benefit Gala on December 10th at Oheka Castle. To attend or donate to Kids Helping Kids, please contact Bob Eslick at HappyKidsClub@aol.com or 516-249-9449.
