Michael Kennedy Joins Avionté’s Executive Management Team as Chief Financial Officer
The Minnesota-based fast-growing company adds Kennedy to oversee all financial operations.
Eagan, MN, November 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Michael J. Kennedy, CPA, was recently hired on as Chief Financial Officer at Avionté, a recruiting and staffing software solutions provider based in Eagan, Minnesota. Kennedy joined Avionté in October and now oversees all financial operations at the company.
Kennedy is the newest hire to Avionté’s growing Executive Management Team, which also includes Jeff Boyce, who was hired earlier this year to fill Avionté’s newly created VP of Services role. Kennedy will oversee the Avionté Finance Team and will report to Avionté CEO John Long, who said the company is building a stronger team with every new hire.

Kennedy will be responsible for financial planning and reporting, administration, and risk management along with a significant involvement in business development at Avionté. In his role, Kennedy will also work closely with the Board of Directors at Serent Capital, a growth equity firm based in San Francisco that joined forces with Avionté in January 2014.
As a 2014 Honoree for the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s CFO of the Year award in the Large Private Company Category, Kennedy has a long history of success at both publicly and privately-held high-growth companies including Atterro Human Capital Group, SAGE Electrochromics and Lifemark.
Kennedy has an extensive background in SEC reporting, investor relations, financing and cash management, and holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Saint Thomas and a BA in Accounting from Hamline University. He also serves on the Board of Volunteers of America of Minnesota and Wisconsin and the Accounting Department Advisory Committee for Hamline University.
