The Nonprofit Journal to Launch World’s First Nonprofit Radio Channel

Phoenix, AZ, November 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Nonprofit Journal Live with Dee Suomala Internet radio program announced today its plans to launch world’s first nonprofit radio channel.

In its first year, The Nonprofit Journal has been very successful in establishing a culture of quality and accountability when it comes to nonprofits and the communities they serve. “Over the past year, our radio program experienced strong organic growth. We have established solid relationships with distinguished guests and experts, which bring vital information to our audience,” said Founder and President Dee Suomala. “As we enter our second year, we are looking to expand our operations by creating a dedicated nonprofit channel on Dave Pratt’s Star Worldwide Networks. We will bring other hosts with their own shows, who are dedicated to their missions and want to reach a wider audience. Our challenge is the expense of the radio channel—which include, radio station licensing, promotion, and the production of new shows.”

The channel will allow for expanded programming and content, focusing on homelessness, veterans’ assistance, aging adult community and their challenges, disease, family assistance, disaster victims, domestic violence, and much more. In addition, the channel will bring more field experts who will offer direction and guidance to nonprofits, which will establish transparency and accountability in the way nonprofits operate.

Suomala has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $20,000 for the expansion. “Imagine how additional shows would make a bigger impact in our communities—and it’s all because of your support,” added Suomala. “We have already been approached by members of other organizations, and sponsors— who support our efforts and have committed to being part of our new channel on the Star Worldwide Networks.”
