London, United Kingdom, November 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- A next generation home-buying service, HOMEdashboard aims to fundamentally change the way people buy homes in the UK.
Co-founders Jonathan Harris (aged 26) and George Rawlings (aged 23) are disrupting the traditional homebuying process by making it customer focused, not property sales focused. In doing so they aim to become the consumer champion brand for the homebuyer.
“We’re re-inventing how people select, view and buy homes - even accessing off-market properties, whilst making the process easy and enjoyable,” said Harris at the company’s soft launch to stakeholders in London this week.
Harris commented that other market sectors’ traditional business models have been substantially disrupted by new brands. “What these companies all have in common is that they utilise an existing infrastructure to create a consumer-focused experience that is far better for the end user, whilst providing powerful routes to market for suppliers. The traditional homebuying process is antiquated and far too clunky for the digital age consumer. People are now used to getting immediate access to a comprehensive range of products, and we’ve now brought this concept to the property market," he said.
HOMEdashboard are not building another portal or online estate agency but instead something far more useful for the consumer - a personal homebuying dashboard, called myhomedashboard.com with highly visual and engaging web and mobile apps.
What makes HOMEdashboard truly unique is that the entire home-buying process can be managed online. Users drag’n’drop properties to their shortlist from absolutely any source (including multiple portals, estate agency websites, and social media), book viewings centrally with multiple agents, arrange surveys, and place offers online in conjunction with the advice, assistance and expert negotiation skills of HOMEdashboard’s dedicated buying agents, who can also approach off-market properties. These are specialist negotiators who empower the buyer with a “Ready-to-Buy” certificate, detailed market analysis and unique anti-gazumping offer documentation. They work on a “no saving-no-fee” basis and will also liaise with mortgage brokers, surveyors and conveyancors to ensure a more efficient and enjoyable home purchase.
Until now, only the seller has been represented in the transaction - often to the significant disadvantage of the buyer who can now be fully represented by HOMEdashboard experts on a “no saving - no fee basis” whilst enjoying the convenience of the world’s first truly comprehensive home moving app.
HOMEdashboard is about empowering the homebuyer in the digital age, enabling them to find, view and buy the right home on the best terms - enjoyably.
Notes to Editor:
HOMEDashboard launch their accredited agent program today (16th November 2015) with a consumer launch planned for the new year.
Founder Jonathan Harris was president of Exeter University student union prior to launching his first startup in 2013, a SAAS marketing tool for UK estate agents, which he started with just £500 and has earned over £2m to date.
"Having developed a multi million pound lead generation tool for estate agents, and dealing with hundreds of agents across the UK, it became increasingly clear to me that whilst consumer habit was rapidly developing the agency world as I know it just was not prepared for this shift in focus onto the consumer, which would in turn have potentially devastating effects on their lead cultivation," says Harris.
