LVA Urban Design Hires Land Planner
Tempe, AZ, November 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- LVA Urban Design Studio proudly welcomes Jeff Farr, returning to the firm after 18 years. As land planner, Farr will support the team in providing quality, sustainable land planning and landscape design services to clients throughout Arizona.
Farr has over 25 years of experience in design and project planning in residential and large master planned communities for a variety of upscale projects, including Grayhawk, McDowell Mountain Ranch and Estancia. He comes to LVA with a significant portfolio that features projects and communities encompassing more than 20,000 acres throughout Arizona and California. Some of his most notable clients include Newland, Maracay Homes, Gila River Indian Community, Iberdrola Renewables, McRae Group and the City of Glendale.
Most recently, Farr was principal at Drifting Sands Design, where he worked with local and national homebuilders, developers and private companies, leading all aspects of project management and design, from conceptual design and development through site analysis and budgeting.
Farr led the project design for Mirasol Ranch in Maricopa County. He worked diligently alongside zoning attorneys to acquire the proper entitlements, in addition to project theming, land planning, and project coordination with public agencies and private entities.
Farr’s initial work at LVA will focus on a 400+ acre residential community. This exciting new project will continue the firm’s long-standing tradition of providing innovative architectural design for master planned communities and exceptional client service.
A graduate of Arizona State University receiving a B.S. in Design, Farr is a member of the Arizona Planning Association.
