Class Act Books Releases Last Entry in Paranormal Series
Port Townsend, WA, November 20, 2015 --(PR.com)-- This month, Class Act Books released the final entry in the award-winning paranormal series, "The Second Species."
The series about the aventurieri, a group of people believed to be the origin of the vampire myth, a "second species" of Mankind, centers around Marek Strigoi's search for the killer of his parents.
Hiding from humans threatening to kill them, the aventurieri seclude themselves in the valley of the Carpathian Mountains except for an occasional exile sent into the outside world. When Marek Strigoi disobeyed his sovereigns orders in an attempt to find the renegade who murdered his family, he's banished to Europe where he has to blend with humans as he and his brothers continue their hunt.
Shadow Lord, the first entry in the series, was voted one of the Top 10 Horror Novels of 2013 by Preditors & Editors Readers Poll for that year. It was also honored with an award from the Maryland Romance Writers. Shadow Liege, comprising the ninth and final book in the series, was released on November 15.
Tony-Paul de Vissage is a writer of paranormal/horror fiction whose novels has received many awards. He currently has twenty novels in publication by Class Act Books, including two series and a boxed set.
His horror novel, The Night Man Cometh, was a Top 10 Finalist in Horror in the Preditors & Editors Readers Poll for 2011. His Southern paranormal novel, The Last Vampire Standing, was honored by the Paranormal Romance Guild as a Reviewers Choice in 2012, as was his Mayan paranormal, Dark God Descending, in 2013. His horror novel, Absinthe, was chosen for an award in M/M Historical Horror by the Guild in 2014. Two short stories, "Blood will Freeze" and "Unpath'd Waters, Undream'd Shores" were named two of the Top 10 Finishers in Horror and Sf/Fantasy short stories for 2012 by the Preditors & Editors Readers Polls for that year.
