Henderson Franklin Paralegal Nickie Stewart Named NALA Liaison to Gulf Coast Paralegals

Fort Myers, FL, November 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that Nickie Stewart, a paralegal in the Commercial Litigation Division, was sworn in as the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) Liaison for the Gulf Coast Paralegal Association (GCPA). She also serves as the meeting coordinator for GCPA’s monthly meetings held in Fort Myers and Naples.

As the NALA Liaison, Stewart will serve as the main contact between NALA and GCPA, and is also now a member of the GCPA Board of Directors. In this role, Stewart will receive minutes of all NALA meetings, represent the GCPA association at the NALA annual meeting of affiliated associations, and prepare a mid-year report and an annual report on GCPA activities to the NALA Affiliated Associations Director. Stewart will also participate in discussion sessions at NALA’s annual meeting and present a report on the meeting to GCPA members.

Stewart joined Henderson Franklin in 1978. She obtained her paralegal certification as a Certified Legal Assistant from the National Association of Legal Assistants in May 1987. Stewart also obtained her Florida Bar Registered Paralegal designation in July 2008. She continues her education at seminars and conferences to maintain her CLA/CP and FRP designations.
