Timeshare Resale Advertiser BuyaTimeshare.com Donates Food Items for Thanksgiving
Employees from the timeshare resale company donated food for the holidays to Metropolitan Ministries.
Tampa, FL, November 27, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, employees from timeshare resale advertising company BuyaTimeshare.com have donated over 400 pounds of food to the holiday food bank for Tampa-based Metropolitan Ministries.
Each year, company employees organize their annual food drive to support the work of the non-profit group, whose outreach efforts helped over 17,000 families in 2014 during the holidays.
“Our employees get together each year and decide to donate food to this very worthwhile group, and I’m so pleased to see them give back to our community,” BuyaTimeshare.com CEO Wesley Kogelman said. “Metropolitan Ministries does such a terrific job helping the underprivileged in our area and we are happy to support them and remember how grateful we are to enjoy the advantages we have.”
Assisting the homeless and hungry has been the foundation of Metropolitan Ministries since 1972, when 13 Tampa churches from different denominations combined their community outreach efforts to form Metropolitan Ministries. Since then, they have helped more than 500,000 families through Outreach and Prevention Services, prepared over 23 million hot meals and provided more than 350,000 safe haven shelter nights.
