Navy Veteran Finds New Home with Falcone Crawl Space
Charlotte, NC, November 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair, known for award-winning residential repair, has expanded their team with the addition of David Flannery as the new operations manager effective November 1, 2015.
“We know crawl space repair better than anybody else so there was little chance for us to find someone who knows better than us but we did want to find someone who knew logistics. We needed to bring in someone at a senior level and teach them about crawl spaces. Dave managed 6500 sailors in the Navy so working with 30 crawl space guys is a much smaller scale for him. He’s beyond qualified and we recognize that,” said Melissa Falcone.
Previously, Flannery spent 32 years in the United States Navy, reaching the highest rank possible, Command Master Chief. During his time in the Navy, he split his time between supervising various metric driven programs, and developing and managing his platoon to ensure the highest standards of professionalism are upheld at all levels. It was his operational experience and fundamental leadership skills that Fred and Melissa Falcone were most impressed by.
“The opportunity to lead, manage, effect change in efficiency and make a positive contribution for the company is what brought me to Falcone. As for prior service, with 32 years in the U.S. Navy I feel my unique traits of developing and managing personnel, overseeing metric driven programs, operational experience and exercising fundamental leadership in a number of capacities will make me a good fit with the company and enable me to lead the company in a more positive direction,” said Flannery.
Charlotte-based Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair was founded in 2006 and has grown into the best structural repair company in the industry. Owned by Fred and Melissa Falcone, Falcone Crawl Space stands out in the industry because they do more than just fix houses, they create a top-notch customer experience for every Falcone customer. Falcone was voted one of the Best Places to Work in Charlotte, NC for good reason; Falcone employees love their job and it’s visible in every repair they perform.
“My first two weeks here have been very interesting. Not having a background in the actual work within crawl spaces, structural repair, etc. that is conducted here at Falcone being in the field presented me with the opportunity to see first-hand and learn an entire new craft with a great time,” said Flannery.
Flannery will dedicate his time to helping Falcone make marked improvements in developing stronger crew members and improving logistics so they can serve more homeowners.
“It’s been a whirlwind being out in the field with the guys, seeing what they do, spending 2 or 3 days with each of the crew leaders, getting to understand the crawl space business, and doing banding or girders or joist sistering. I’ve learned a lot, stuff that’s foreign to me, and now we’re developing and organizing a plan to become more efficient across the board. That’ll definitely help us become better and more diverse in what we do as a company. We want to grow exponentially but we’re all working together; we’re all on the same drum beat and that’s what is most important,” said Flannery.
