McKinley Marketing Partners’ CEO Michelle Boggs Honored by Women’s Business Enterprise National Council
Alexandria, VA, December 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Michelle Boggs, CEO of McKinley Marketing Partners is being honored by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the leading advocate for women's businesses as suppliers to the nation's leading corporations. WBENC has just released its annual list of the 2008 Women’s Business Enterprise Stars.
As McKinley’s co-founder and first employee, Ms. Boggs now serves as the company’s CEO. As such, she oversees an operation that consults with Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies regarding their project-based marketing needs, and then taps into McKinley’s roster of experienced Interim Marketing Managers(SM) (IMMs®) to find the best resource or resources for the project.
In recent months McKinley has added a permanent placement service line to its business model. The move came just before the company rolled out its proprietary web-based application which manages all the recruiting, projects, and contacts for the company. The application is the culmination of over a decade of work and vision for Boggs.
“I am incredibly flattered to be recognized by Women’s Business Enterprise National Council,” says Boggs. “The accomplishments for McKinley this year are the icing on the cake for me. To be recognized for the work that is the culmination of a lot of hard work by a great team is exciting.”
Boggs will be recognized on March 20, 2008 before 1,200 at WBENC’s annual black tie Salute to Women's Business Enterprises: The Power of Progress, which will be chaired by Microsoft. The Salute will also kick off a year-long term for the honorees as WBENC’s 2008 Women’s Business Enterprise Stars. The women business owners, all certified women’s business enterprises (WBEs), will be recognized for their leadership in their respective local business communities, their inspiration to other women business owners, and their active roles at the helm of all successful certified businesses.
