Usage Auditing and SAP BW Connectivity at Center of Latest DecisionPoint™ Release
Leeds, United Kingdom, December 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- International software company Antivia today announced that the latest version of its business intelligence (BI) software DecisionPoint™, version 4 R9.2, is now generally available to customers.
DecisionPoint™ enables organizations to unlock the value trapped in their business data by empowering non-techies to quickly turn data into beautiful interactive dashboards that can be shared with anyone on a tablet, smart phone or web browser.
The latest release introduces usage auditing and direct connectivity to SAP Business Warehouse (BW).
Usage auditing
DecisionPoint™ is designed to provide everyone in an organization with answers to the questions that matter the most – without training.
This means DecisionPoint™ customers often have large audiences, many of whom are working remotely. The ability to understand which users are using which dashboards and when is critical to ensuring a successful roll-out with high adoption rates.
Customers now have the option to enable usage logging on the server, which provides visibility into everything from who looked at which dashboard to how long queries take to run. This greatly improves capacity planning and it enables customers to monitor adoption rates across their organization.
For larger deployments, this means it will be easier to understand how dashboards are used and identify areas that need attention, helping customers to deliver dashboards more effectively and ensure they achieve the results their organization expects.
Mark Hudson, CEO of Antivia, said: “We’re seeing more large deployments of DecisionPoint™, so adding these auditing capabilities was a natural step for us to help our enterprise customers deliver information successfully across their organizations and to achieve high adoption rates.”
Direct SAP BW connectivity
The release also includes native connectivity to SAP BW, further improving DecisionPoint’s ability to connect to SAP data sources and making it even easier for SAP customers to use DecisionPoint™ to create rich interactive dashboards and applications without coding.
Hudson continued: “By adding direct connectivity to Business Warehouse we’re offering SAP customers a genuine alternative to Design Studio so they can deliver the interactive dashboards and applications that their front-line workers need without having to write code. This means projects can be delivered quicker and for less cost. And, of course, DecisionPoint™ dashboards are great for remote workforces, providing full interactivity even when decision makers are offline.”
DecisionPoint™ version 4 R9.2 is generally available to all customers with a valid support and maintenance agreement.
