Innovators, Advisors and Executives Launch Entrepreneurs for Hillary
New York, NY, December 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Entrepreneurs and passionate Hillary Clinton advocates from across the country have come together to launch Entrepreneurs for Hillary in support of the Hillary for America campaign. Led by career entrepreneurs, former advisors at the State Department and Ready for Hillary veterans, the group aims to create a nationwide community of entrepreneurs who will leverage their networks to support Hillary for America through volunteering efforts, fundraising, and contributing ideas to the campaign. The central resource of Entrepreneurs for Hillary will be its website, EntrepreneursforHillary.com.
“We founded Entrepreneurs for Hillary because we believe Hillary Clinton is the best candidate for President of the United States,” said Shelly Porges, serial entrepreneur, former Senior Advisor, Global Entrepreneurship Program, U.S. Department of State and co-founder of Entrepreneurs for Hillary. “Her vision, experience and dedication to American entrepreneurship make her uniquely qualified to lead. We look forward to working closely with the entrepreneurial community in representing their interests and ideas to the Clinton campaign.”
Entrepreneurs for Hillary seeks to inspire entrepreneurs to mobilize their networks in support of Hillary Clinton’s candidacy for President of the United States. In addition to fundraising, the group is building a bridge between entrepreneurs and the Clinton campaign. The team of career entrepreneurs has created an online community, soliciting feedback and ideas about the state of entrepreneurship in America and how to promote innovation in the 21st century. The best ideas will be passed through to the Clinton campaign for consideration.
“Entrepreneurship drives progress and innovation in the United States and throughout the world, and must be a prominent topic in the 2016 campaign,” said Maura O’Neill, serial entrepreneur, former Chief Innovation Officer at United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and co-founder of Entrepreneurs for Hillary. “Hillary Clinton has proven time and again that she is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurs, and as President of the United States will continue her fight to give American innovators every possible advantage.”
In addition to the EntrepreneursforHillary.com website, entrepreneurs can subscribe to the mailing list and follow Entrepreneurs for Hillary social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Entrepreneurs in New York may be interested in our December 9 and 10 launch event. For more information email press@entrepreneursforhillary.com.
