International Student Ambassadors in Korea Introduce Gyeonggi-do Tourism
Gyeonggi Tourism Organization (GTO) runs international student ambassadors from 21 countries including China, Japan, Thailand and more.
Singapore, Singapore, December 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- In June 2015, the international student ambassadors of Gyeonggi-do Tourism Organization called GG supporters had an opening ceremony and started travel activities.
The first GG supporters were composed of 60 students from China, Japan, Thailand, Pakistan and more. They were 30 English speaking students, 25 Chinese speaking students, and 5 Japanese speaking students. They promoted Gyeonggi province in Korea on their social media such as Facebook and Twitter during traveling around the area for 6 months.
They posted useful information about Gyeonggi-do for those who would like to travel the area.
Approximately 200 GG supporters’ posts can be seen on the menu - Hallyu Trips for Reporters of Gyeonggi-do Tourism portal website. (Website: http://ggtour.or.kr; the webpages are written in English, Japanese, simplified Chinese and Chinese).
“Foreign individual tourists have been increasing and learn information about travel from online. Therefore we will more focus to our social media marketing efforts in order to expand our target audiences,” said a senior official.
