What is Making the Hollywood Christmas Parade the Biggest Holiday Parade in the World?

Hollywood, CA, December 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Sunday, November 29, over 700 local residents from throughout Los Angeles helped with the Hollywood Christmas Parade. As they arrived, volunteers checked in near Author Services, Inc. (also serving as the parade green room) where they were directed to their assigned parade duty. From parade route guides and grandstand ushers who also distributed program books, media check-in at the red carpet and celebrity drivers, to the nearly three hundred people wrangling the 13 large helium balloons, as well as over a dozen restaurants and clubs who provided food and beverages for the volunteers and green room, Hollywood came out to celebrate Hollywood.

A special time was designated at 4:00 PM on parade day to meet in front of the green room (Author Services, Inc.) for a group photo where many of the over 700 volunteers gathered for the shot. Additional parade photos can be found at www.Facebook.com/GalaxyPress

John Goodwin, President Author Services, Inc. literary agency for L. Ron Hubbard, also serves as the President Hollywood Christmas Parade Advisory Board for Community and Celebrity Outreach, noted, “This parade is about community. Giving people an opportunity to help has been very rewarding.” The over 700 volunteers were from 34 local businesses, schools and community support groups, representing all walks of life—regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age. Goodwin went on, “With such community support, the parade’s popularity continues to grow. We are well on our way to achieving our goal to become the biggest Holiday Parade in the world. After all, it’s Hollywood!”

The Hollywood Christmas Parade airs Friday, December 11, at 8:00 PM Eastern and Pacific on the CW Network. The 2015 Hollywood Christmas Parade Benefiting Marine Toys for Tots Presenting Sponsors include The City of Los Angeles, the CW Network, the Hallmark Channel, and Associated Television International, which is executive producing the live parade and the telecast of it.
