Innovation Direct™ Representing Patented Steel Frame Storm Shelter Invention to Industry

Miami, FL, December 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- An innovative new patented product designed to provide highly effective protection from natural disasters to lives and property, the Steel Frame Storm Shelter, has been developed by inventor Holland Medford of Lihue, Hawaii. The invention’s unique design enables it to serve as formidable shelter against the destructive effects of high winds and flying debris caused by tornados and hurricanes.

The Steel Frame Storm Shelter’s proprietary features, such as FEMA 320 hurricane-tested steel doors, multiple pinning locks, and 16-gauge steel door frames, enable it to withstand the effects of wind storms and keep the structure it is placed on free from damage. The product can be designed as either new construction units or retro-fitted onto existing structures. Additionally, the Steel Frame Storm Shelter’s sizes are customized for each structure. Furthermore, the product will be competitively priced, particularly when compared to other existing windstorm protection products, and made from durable galvanized steel, concrete and hibor-treated plywood, adding to its appeal.

The inventor of the Steel Frame Storm Shelter, has developed a prototype that has been tested with great success at Texas Tech University and the Tornado Wind Debris Test Facility in Lubbock, Texas. The Steel Frame Storm Shelter is also the subject of Utility Patent # 8,505,253 B1 within the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Medford now seeks a third party licensee to manufacture, market, and distribute the product for him under a royalty agreement.
