Local Food Distribution Company Brings New Farmers' Market to Portsmouth

Portsmouth, NH, December 06, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Three River Farmers Alliance, a farmer-owned local food distribution company located in the Seacoast of NH, has debuted the first Winter Farmers’ Market in Portsmouth. With an existing restaurant/institution delivery service and the new wholesale market model, 3RFA is aiming to make local food entirely accessible to the chef community.

The Farmers’ Market happens every Wednesday from 2-5:30pm at the 3S Artspace on Vaughn Street. The first hour of the market is designated to chefs only, giving them time to shop without a crowd and get back to work. The market is then open to the public from 3-5:30pm. Currently, 5 farms are incorporated; Heron Pond Farm, Meadow’s Mirth Farm, Stout Oak Farm, Tuckaway Farm, and Kellie Brook Farm. They offer a wide range of seasonal produce along with frozen meat products provided by Kellie Brook Farm.
