5th Blood Donation and Free Eye Check Up Camp at Aavaran Home Plus

Ranchi, India, December 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- A Blood Donation and Free Eye Check up camp was organized by Aavaran Home Plus in association with Indian Red Cross Society and Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital on 6th December 2015, at Roshpa Tower, under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative ‘ME TO WE’.

The occasion was graced by a number of eminent personalities. Dr. Bharti Kashyap, Head of Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital, addressed the participants and provided essential tips to keep our eyes healthy. Further, Dr. Sushil Kumar and Dr. Awdhesh Agrawal shared their valuable thoughts on blood donation and encouraged youngsters to donate blood on regular basis. A large number of enthusiastic participants including delegates from renowned Medical institutes, medical team, employees and their families participated in this noble cause.

Every blood donor passed through preliminary medical tests like BP, weight-check etc. and were served with tea, coffee and snacks after the donation. A total of 56 people donated their blood. Moreover, professional guidance was given to 90 registered patients, on eye related problems and 10 people filled forms for eye donation.

The camp was held under the guidance and active participation of Mr. Murari Lal Aggarwal, owner of Aavaran Home Plus. Medical staff Ramji Kumar and Ravinder Kumar along with Shubhahish Sinha, Tinku Banerjee, Amrita Nandi and Bharti Gupta provided necessary assistance to this social event. All of them also donated blood to encourage the participants.
