B-TEC Introduces a High Speed Dryer for Spray Outs

Scottsdale, AZ, December 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The ST-01 is designed to produce rapid drying of both waterborne-base coats and urethane clears and single stage. The can use infrared, air movement or both to obtain a fast drying result.

Before its launch, the unit was tested on high performance waterborne basecoats and achieved drying results in as little as 90 seconds. Clear coats are reported to be curing in only 3 minutes. Peter Phillipson, B-Tec’s Technical Sales Manager (IR) who was in charge of the test program commented, “Obviously our main infrared offering are the mobiles, but this little unit certainly compliments the range. The better body shop pros like to see a fully dried / cured spray out for color matching purposes. Sometimes a difficult color can add hours to a job. Time is money as they say and this little unit certainly keeps dry times down to the absolute minimum.”
