Robb & Stucky Taps Managers for New Coral Gables Showroom
Ligia Sosa has been named general manager; Delphine Sacco has been named sales manager.
Fort Myers, FL, December 20, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Robb & Stucky, a luxury home furnishings retailer that also offers professional interior design services, has tapped Ligia Sosa as general manager of its fourth showroom in Coral Gables, Fla., which is slated to open in late January.
As general manager, Sosa will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in the showroom, implementing policy, generating new business, and communicating with both vendors and customers to ensure Robb & Stucky’s merchandising and customer service standards are exceeded.
“Ligia has a great deal of experience in high-end retail, and she has developed an outstanding reputation in the Miami design community,” said Steve Lush, president of Robb & Stucky. “Her passion for design and customer service is contagious, and she will play a very influential role in our continued expansion across Florida.”
Born in Honduras and raised in Miami from the age of six, Sosa speaks fluent Spanish and holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in hospitality management. She brings with her 22 years of experience in furniture retail, having previously managed a number of high-end showrooms in the Coral Gables area, including Kettal, Ligne Roset and William Sonoma.

Also joining the company is Delphine Sacco as sales manager. Her responsibilities will include overseeing all sales operations, service activities and warehouse functions, developing new sales and market share, and managing the interior design staff.

Formerly, Sacco was assistant manager of Baker Furniture’s Coral Gables showroom. She was born and raised in Toulon, France, and earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Florida International University. She speaks fluent French and Spanish.
The new Coral Gables showroom will also employ over 20 additional employees, including a team of 10 trained interior designers as well as multiple business office and warehouse personnel.
A grand opening event is scheduled for February.
