Fiction Novel "Fallen Men" Wins New Apple E-Book Award for Excellence in Independent Publishing
Dayton, OH, December 20, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Fallen Men by Brian O'Hare receives Medalist Honors in the General Fiction category of the 2015 New Apple Summer eBook Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing.
Book Synopsis
Fallen Men by Brian O’Hare, is a story of three priests. All are good, spiritual men but why does young Father Ray Canavan find himself on trial in a Dublin court for the statutory rape of a minor? Why is his equally popular friend, Father Dan Patterson, raucously accused of murder by a member of his congregation as he attempts to celebrate a Requiem Mass? And why does Canon Tony Mulholland so lose sight of his pastoral responsibilities that he tries to cover up Ray’s transgressions by sending him to hide in Italy? Fallen Men is the heart-rending story of a doomed love affair, but it is much more. It is a story of heartbreak and sacrifice, a story that touches on dark themes, but ultimately it is a story of redemption. It is a story that will bring tears to many eyes and its characters will remain in the reader’s heart long after the book has been put down.
