Dr Somdutt Prasad Invited as a Speaker at ACOIN Fourth District CME in Nadia

About Dr Somdutt Prasad
Dr Somdutt Prasad is currently a consultant ophthalmologist and retinal specialist at AMRI and i4vision. He is adept at the full range of medical and surgical retinal procedures from diagnosis to treatment.
Dr Prasad has an extensive experience in vitrectomy surgeries and before settling in India, he as was treating nearly 1000 patients in the UK each year suffering from retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, venous occlusions and other conditions of the retina.
He has also concentrated on training allied professionals to empower them to take on expanded roles. He has trained optometrists to undertake follow-up assessments for macular degeneration patients.
Dr Prasad is also a regular faculty at the UK, European and American Societies of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and has authored 8 book chapters and over 75 peer-reviewed publications.
