The Women's Business Council of Southern Nevada hosted the "Wine Tasting and Silent Pawction" event.
Las Vegas, NV, December 24, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Women’s Business Council of Southern Nevada (WBC), a professional organization for business women, raised $2,500 for Hearts Alive Village Las Vegas at its “Wine Tasting and Silent Pawction” to benefit the local animal rescue organization.
“This was the first formal event for Women’s Business Council since its formation earlier this year and we couldn’t be happier to raise money for such an outstanding organization,” said Jennifer Braster. Braster is a co-founder of WBC and partner in Maupin·Naylor·Braster, Attorneys at Law. Hearts Alive Village is WBC’s non-profit partner.
“Our primary goals are to create relationships to build and strengthen members’ businesses, use WBC opportunities to grow personally, and apply our skills and experience to benefit community organizations,” said Braster. “We are honored to support Hearts Alive Village, which works tirelessly on behalf of homeless and neglected animals in Southern Nevada.”
Approximately 60 people attended the Wine Tasting and Silent Pawction, which was sponsored in part by Maupin·Naylor·Braster and Mohamed A. Iqbal of IQBAL Law, PLLC. The event auctioned fine art created by local artists and wine in addition to accepting monetary donations for Hearts Alive Village.
