Laughlin, NV, December 25, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The River Run is an annual motorcycle rally which can draw up to an estimated 45 000 motorcycle riders. It all began in 1983 when Harley-Davidson dealer Dale Marschke decided he wanted to invite his customers out for a fun weekend ride. The term "River Run" finds its origin from the tradition of motorcycle riders riding out to the Colorado River, and then along to Laughlin. Other stops and destinations include across the river in Laughlin's sister city, Bullhead City, Arizona and Route 66 rides to Oatman, Arizona, Kingman, Arizona and also down to Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Currently promoted by Dal-Con Promotions, the Laughlin River Run takes place annually during the last weekend in April. The event features many attractions including live concerts, motorcycle vendors, a poker run, drag races, bike show, Ms. Laughlin competition and charity events. An incredible event that began with 426 participants in 1983 now attracts, on average, 45 000 motorcycle enthusiasts.
