49th Street Bail Bonds Participates in the 9th Annual Jolly Trolley Bus Bar Crawl to Raise Money for Christmas Presents
Clearwater, FL Bail Bonds Office Helps Raise Money to Benefit Teens in Foster Care
Clearwater, FL, December 25, 2015 --(PR.com)-- 49th Street Bail Bonds participated in the Jolly Trolley Bus Crawl earlier in December. This annual event raises money to benefit teens in the care of Eckerd Alternatives, a branch of the Department of Children and Families. The Jolly Trolley Bar Crawl was created by local celebrity bartender, Shantel Griffin. This event enables patrons to purchase a ticket and enjoy an all day ride on the trolley to various local beach bar hot spots with the final destination being the Treasure Bay Hotel. Raffle tickets for various prizes are also sold on the ride with the proceeds going towards the purchase of Christmas presents for teens in the foster care system.
Joe Von Waldner, bail bondsman and owner of 49th Street Bail Bonds, states, “My staff looks forward to this event every year. Costumes are encouraged and prizes are handed out for the best ones during the event. Everyone who buys a ticket has a great time enjoying drinks at all of the beach hot spots. This is a fun way for people to have a day out while raising money for Christmas presents for teens in foster care. The teen age group is often over looked so this event enables them to receive presents off of their wish list and have a very Merry Christmas. We are proud to be able to help with this great cause.”
The Jolly Trolley Bar Crawl raised over $6,000 this year. Fifty teens will be receiving items off of their Christmas wish list thanks to this event and the generosity of the participants and sponsors. The teens wish list included items such as bikes, tablets, clothing, make-up, and PlayStation.
