Graham, NC, December 29, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Co|Operative, a shared co-working space & business incubator, has announced that a public open house will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. to celebrate the opening of the newly completed space. The event will be held onsite at 200-B N. Main St. in Graham, NC. A private, invitation only party will be held prior to the public open house on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016.
Co|Operative is a curated co-working community and business incubator, designed to act as a center for the community and to foster creativity and innovation for its members, according to founding member Jason Cox. Event space can be reserved, shared and dedicated desks can be arranged, and private offices are available. Individuals have access to areas they need during the day, evening and on weekends.
“I’m extremely excited to be involved in what I hope is a small start in a much broader effort to cultivate an innovative, entrepreneurial environment in our community,” said Cox.
The space provides 24/7 access to members, with unlimited high-speed Internet, printing, scanning, and mail services, and a full kitchen complete with gourmet coffee and tea. Conference rooms for meetings and breakout sessions are available, along with a lounge area. The co-working environment also plans to expand to offer a shared studio space in the upcoming months.
Members benefit from resident mentors, ongoing workshops and experts-in-residence. As a business incubator, members also have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to local investors and area angel funds, learn how to plan and create new startups, and the keys to successfully managing their businesses as they grow and expand.
“We want Co|Operative to be a safe haven where we turn ideas into sustainable businesses, and to help new and existing small businesses to start here and stay here in Alamance County,” says Cox.
The first co-working space and first business incubator in the county, Co|Operative is located in in the historic former Montwhite Opera House, and features restored building details such as original hardwood playhouse floors, high tin ceilings, and large arched windows providing extensive natural lighting. It offers a home for innovators, problem solvers and creators that’s centrally located between Durham and Greensboro, and less than a mile from the Interstate.
