One man writes and publishes 50 computer training books simultaneously, including 9 on Office 2007 Microsoft's latest.
Castries, Saint Lucia, December 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Hughan Smith, the proprietor of Mr. Smith's Computer Learning Center a software learning institute located on the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean, has just written and published a total of 50 software training books simultaneously including 9 on Microsoft Office 2007. The aim is to share with all the successful system of training that he has developed.
The “To the Point” series of books is written specifically for the Office 2007 programs and are designed for those making the transition from the previous versions of the programs such as Microsoft Word 2003, Excel 2003, and PowerPoint 2003. There is also the “Teach Yourself” series designed for beginners. The “Little Black Book” series is designed as a pocket reference small in size so that clients can easily carry it with them anywhere they go. There are currently three books in each series.
The books have been published by “Lulu” the world’s fastest growing provided of print-on-demand books. Copies are available in print and download form at http://Lulu.com/smittybooks.
What is different about the books and why clients should buy them? To begin with they are written in a step-by-step and easy to follow fashion, they are project and results oriented with several illustrations, meaning that clients will use the software to do the most useful features and they will see screenshots showing them the steps toward accomplishing the task.
The books talk to clients in a manner that they understand and not talk down at them.
Mr. Smith dare states that clients will be pleasantly surprised at how simple it is to master the Microsoft line of software.
Further according to Mr. Smith, “The project did not start as a 50 book project but soon grew into one where my aim became one of having a book available to you if you are a user of the popular Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook, regardless of your proficiency, be it beginner or someone seeking certification at the Microsoft Office Specialist (M.O.S.) or E.C.D.L. Certification at both the Core as well as the Expert level.”
In the end the project totaled 13,937 pages, 2,408,393 words and 10,931 illustrations. The entire project was handled by one person, writing, typing, formatting, designing, indexing, table of contents, cover design, the entire project was done by the author Hughan Smith mainly as a labor of passion and love, and a study in dedication and commitment while using the very same programs which he has written about.
