Event Synopsis:
With growing international attention on multinational corporations avoiding taxes, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) released its final reports on BEPS in October of 2015. BEPS refers to the consequences for countries of multinational companies using various means to avoid taxation. Some of these guidelines won’t go into effect for a few more years; however others like the new transfer pricing documentation standards and country-by-country reporting are in full force now.
While there still is some uncertainty about the future of BEPS in Europe, it is important for companies to understand the changes, be transparent regarding finances and know how BEPS can impact their organizations.
The Knowledge Group has assembled an experienced panel of leaders to discuss the OECD BEPS plans and review what multinational corporations need to know to remain complaint in 2016 and beyond. During this two-hour live webcast, the speakers will review the potential tax consequences for multinational corporations and suggest best practices in implementing the changes. The experts will cover these topics:
• OECD 15 BEPS Actions
• Ruling Practice in Europe
• Effect of BEPS on Transactions
• The Future of Patent Box Systems
• Effect of BEPS on Multinational Corporation Taxes
• Types of Transfer Pricing Risks
• BEPS Readiness Test
• Tax Risk Mitigation
• BEPS-Proof Value Chain Analysis
• Compliance and Litigation Risks
• Best Practices
