Fiction Novel "Cross Roads" Receives Official Selection Honors in the New Apple Indie E-Book Awards
Dayton, OH, January 13, 2016 --(PR.com)-- "Cross Roads" by Donald Wilson II receives Official Selection Honors in the Action-Adventure category of the 2015 New Apple Summer eBook Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing.
Book Synopsis
The hunt begins. Being sixteen, homeless and surviving on her wits in New York City has made Shawna's life more than a little challenging. Shawna spends as much time as she can reading and getting into and out of trouble with her best friend, Javon. Together, they have learned how to live on the mean streets and keep a smile on each others' face. Shawna's world is turned upside down when men with glowing red eyes attempt to kill her. She is rescued by Decker, a highly skilled agent from the only organization capable of stopping them. They are known as the Acolytes. After agreeing to join him, Shawna begin her intense training to become a member of the covert group. She gains a home, new friends and new chances to get into just the right amount of mischief. Shawna's new life is interrupted when the unrelenting red eye assassins threaten everything that she holds dear, forcing her to put her training to the test. If she can survive her life will never be the same again.
About the Author
Donald Wilson has been writing from a young age and has been published in several publications. Donald's debut novel, Cross Roads, has won several awards including the 2015 New Apple Summer E-Book Official Selection in the category of Action Adventure. When he is not creating new stories or catching up on sports news, he can be found traveling across the country. He currently lives in Westchester County, NY with his family and their very active dog.
