McGrath Systems Acquires Staffing Division
Blue Bell, PA, January 13, 2016 --(PR.com)-- On Friday, October 30, McGrath Systems, a talent solutions firm based in Blue Bell, PA, had successfully completed its acquisition with a Pennsylvania-based staffing and recruiting firm doing approximately USD 3.5m in revenue.
The acquisition focused on the firm’s contract-staffing division and will complement McGrath Systems’ current service offerings. The acquisition is aligned with McGrath’s strategy to expand the company’s core verticals along with doubling its size within the next two years. President/CEO of McGrath, Mike Wiley, stated “this acquisition is another step toward our goal for 2017.”
“Our plan for the acquisition is to increase the revenue by USD 1m from [this] book and further, increase the current margin by 3 to 5 percent,” said Wiley. “Our ability to leverage economies of scale should help drive these increases,” Wiley added.
While most of McGrath’s business efforts are focused in the engineering and commercial sectors, along with industries with high volume-based projects, Wiley sets to accommodate its other core divisions: accounting and finance, administrative services, light industrial and manufacturing. The acquisition will help add a number of Fortune 500 customers with a multitude of varying needs across all disciplines on a national level.
Wiley stated that McGrath will continue to look at acquisition opportunities throughout the next two years to expand its geographic imprint in a few key markets; Harrisburg, PA; Hagerstown, MD; Austin and Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, AZ.
