SEC Energy Products & Services Reports Record Business Growth in 2015
Surpassed Milestone of Three Million Horsepower Packaged; Doubled the Number of Compression Facilities Designed; Set On-Time Delivery Rate at Greater than 99 Percent
Houston, TX, January 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Houston-based SEC Energy Products & Services, a leading packager of natural gas compression equipment and currently the only company in the industry to package gas, electric and dual-drive compressors announced today that 2015 marked the best year in the company’s eleven year history.
In addition to compression packaging, SEC Energy provides turn-key facilities engineering services, engine overhauls and unit revamp services, in-field service and maintenance, and more. SEC Energy also offers both stock compression units and production equipment for customers looking to maximize capital expenditures and shortened product delivery timeframes.
A major milestone reached by the company in 2015 was the packaging of more than 500,000 horsepower of compression, bringing the company’s total to more than three million horsepower packaged since its founding in 2004. To achieve this, SEC Energy packaged an average or 41,700 horsepower of compression per month. Additionally, one of SEC Energy’s fastest growing business segments in 2015 was its facilities engineering department, which more than doubled the number of compression facilities engineered and designed.
“We were able to achieve major milestones in 2015 due to the strengthening of our processes and the expansion of our facilities and business lines,” said David Stone, president, SEC Energy Products & Services. “Not only did we expand our physical footprint on our 56-acre facility in Houston, which increased fabrication, assembly, overhaul and revamp service capacity, we also expanded our technical services group that includes truck-based technicians who can perform onsite compressor maintenance and repairs, handling everything from major conversions and upgrades to complete overhauls and revamps. In fact, we overhauled 300,000 horsepower of compression this year, which was a company record.”
According to Stone, SEC Energy further distinguished itself in 2015 with the achievement of an on-time delivery rate of greater than 99 percent. “While we are proud of our expanded service facility and the record numbers achieved, we are more excited that the realignment of our business during the last year allowed us to better serve our customers, which translated into a savings of both time and money for them. Our customer satisfaction numbers have never been higher, which is a strong testament to the true quality of our people.”
