Cedar Lake Cellars to Cook Up Something Special on Valentine's Day
St. Louis winery focuses on fine food and love for the holiday.
St. Louis, MO, January 15, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event venue, will hold Valentine’s Day celebrations on Fri., Feb. 13 and Sat., Feb. 14 with reserved seating times at 5 and 7:30 p.m. The property’s Big Red Barn will be open from 3:30 to 9 p.m. for appetizers and drinks. Cedar Lake Cellars is located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo.
The four-course menu includes an Italian antipasti sampler with peppadew poppers, marinated olives and button mushrooms, mini parmesan wedge, and crostini bread straws. The second course is a baby romaine wedge with roasted pork belly, diced tomatoes, and gorgonzola dressing.
The third course has four options: a lobster and crab-topped beef tenderloin; a prosciutto-wrapped chicken breast with a carbonara cream sauce and fresh peas; almond-encrusted tilapia with a lemon butter sauce, and; portobello mushrooms stacked with roasted peppers, goat cheese and asparagus. The fourth course is grand marnier-soaked ladyfingers layered with a mascarpone hazelnut chocolate mousse, candied pecans, and a light cocoa whipped cream.
