Keller Williams and Major Mortgage Host First Time Home Buyers Seminar
Grand Junction, CO, January 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Jennifer Cirka, REALTOR® & Broker Associate with Keller Williams Colorado West Realty, LLC, along with Cameron Collard, Mortgage Loan Originator with Major Mortgage, will be hosting the first in a series of informational seminars for First Time Home Buyers. The event is open to all residents of Mesa County and is free of charge. Light refreshments will be provided and host speakers will present on the topics of “Why Hire a REALTOR®” and “Loan Options and Requirements.”
Other guest speakers will include Deborah Hull of Paul Bird Insurance Agency, Real Estate Appraiser Craig Smith, and Thomas W, Nason, PE, of Good Friend Inspections, LLC. The seminar will be held on Saturday, January 30th, 2016 from 10:30 to 12PM at the Keller Williams Training Room located at 2474 Patterson Road, Suite 100, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Since the entire home buying process can be quite overwhelming and complicated, these professionals have put together a short presentation on how they can assist potential new buyers along with answering any questions they may have.
According to National Association of REALTOR®'s inaugural quarterly household survey, Housing Opportunities and Market Experience (HOME), data reveals that an overwhelming majority of current renters who are 34 years of age or younger want to own a home in the future (94 percent). Overall, 83 percent of polled renters have a desire to own, and 77 percent believe homeownership is part of their American Dream. Cameron Collard of Major Mortgage states that, “Now is a good time to buy because interest rates are on the rise,” and is proud to say that, “Major Mortgage offers everything from underwriting to funding in house.”
The presenters are looking forward to educating guests about their specialties in the the home buying process.
