Event Synopsis:
More and more countries across the globe are now adopting forms of Whistleblower Protection laws. It is worth noting that legal protection for whistleblowers varies significantly in effect and with jurisdiction. The global differences pose critical challenges for multinational employers imposing compliance policies and whistleblowing reporting schemes that are consistent across the organization and with applicable local regulations.

In this regard, it is imperative that multinational companies consider cultural differences in designing their whistleblowing programs, and ensure that they meet the demands of the international industry. Taking an adaptable approach will enable companies to effectively address potential malpractices at an early stage.
