Robert Carroll, Senior Director, Content Solutions-Imaging for Dolby Laboratories will be presenting HDR content creation for Dolby Vision and HDR-10. The process of creating HDR content will be discussed in depth with topics to include: HDR in acquisition, VFX, editing, grading/mastering, encoding and playback. There will be a focus on HDR in editing and creating Dolby Vision, HDR-10 and Rec 709 deliverables from a single workflow.
David McGavran, Director of Engineering for Adobe’s professional audio and video products, will be demonstrating the latest release of Adobe® Premiere® Pro CC and its support for High Dynamic Range video. Adobe Premiere Pro, a key component of Adobe Creative Cloud®, has come to be known for its innovation in addressing the needs of editors through every step of the editing process - from color, to audio, to unparalleled integration with other Adobe tools like After Effects® and Photoshop®, as well as all new mobile apps like Adobe Premiere Clip. Attendees will learn how Premiere Pro can make a difference in HDR workflow.
To answer the growing demand for advanced television formats FilmLight will be showcasing its HDR, wide gamut and Ultra HD 4K color technology. Peter Postma, US Product Manager for FilmLight will be on hand to show attendees how content can look its best in any context across production, editorial, VFX and finishing with Baselight Editions for Avid and NUKE and the Baselight color finishing system for Dolby Vision mastering.
