Lacrosse Out Cancer North vs. South Lacrosse Tournament Brings Spirit of Community Support to Youth and Sports Fans of Central Florida

Orlando, FL, January 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The creative leaders at Heal’n thru Sports, LLC announces the upcoming North vs. South Lacrosse Tournament in Tavares, FL; established to financially aid those who are presently receiving treatment to battle breast cancer. Since 2008, worldwide breast cancer incidence has increased by more than 20 percent. Treatment for breast cancer can be impossible to afford without insurance, costly with some health care reform and perhaps an unexpected shock when the insurance coverage amount is too low and pricey co-pays are overlooked. Although there are many efforts to help cure the disease, there are people who are in need of support right now. Heal’n thru Sports, LLC has partnered with ‘The Pink Fund,’ a non-profit organization that provides financial aid to patients currently receiving treatment that fall behind on their bills, to give them a chance to concentrate on healing instead of worrying about how to make ends meet.

Girls and boys lacrosse teams from U11 to high school are invited to participate. Participants can look forward to competing with teams from all over the United States. Teams are guaranteed four games, three of round robin play followed by single elimination bracket play. There will be a champion for each division of play for girls and boys. All of the games will be held at one location, Hickory Point Park, Tavares, FL. The venue is athlete and family friendly with a number of vendors that will offer sport equipment and gear, food and entertainment.

Heal’n thru Sports invites organizations, foundations, business owners, professional athletes, celebrities, sports organizations, community groups and individuals to show their support for a community outreach event that will provide a place for youth to “Play With Purpose.”
