Call of Duty Endowment Supports Corporate America Supports You (CASY) for Fourth Consecutive Year
Amid most successful year yet, Corporate America Supports You (CASY) receives additional $1.4 million in funding from Activision’s Call of Duty Endowment.
Lake St. Louis, MO, January 30, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Corporate America Supports You (CASY) announced today their receipt of continued support from Activision’s Call of Duty Endowment.
News of the added support comes on the heels of CASY’s record-setting placement of 7,045 military-affiliated job seekers into careers in 2015. Chief Operating Officer Erin Voirol stated, “We are proud of these numbers: each represents our hard work and commitment and means a military job applicant found valuable employment. In part, our Public Private Partnerships, with the National Guard and other organizations across the US, enable us to work towards our mission to eliminate unemployment and underemployment within the military community. Each hire means we are doing things right as a community, and we plan on doing more in 2016.”
Building on their generous support, the Call of Duty Endowment grant will enable the organization to continue placing thousands into careers. Rear Admiral Dan Kloeppel, USN (Ret.) Founder and CEO, CASY & MSCCN, explained, “Initial recognition by The Call of Duty Endowment as a Seal of Distinction winner in 2013 and continued and increasing financial support through the beginning of 2016 have transformed this organization. We’ve evolved from a small operation in 2013 to one of the most productive, effective, and efficient organizations supporting military job seekers today. This transformation would have been impossible without the generous support of The Call of Duty Endowment.”
In 2016, CASY will expand on already proven programs and opportunities through continued emphasis on training programs--including IBM® i2® Analyst’s Notebook® Training and SAP training in Ft. Hood, TX, industry specific programs like Troops to Transportation and Logistics (T2TL), and continued process improvement and employment readiness solutions for job seekers.
The Call of Duty Endowment is a private nonprofit foundation that supports organizations placing former service members into rewarding careers while raising awareness of the value veterans bring to the civilian workplace. The Call of Duty Endowment created the Seal of Distinction award in 2013 to highlight nonprofit organizations that have proven to most effectively and efficiently place veterans into high quality careers.
Working their low-cost, high-touch system, CASY provides no-cost employment solutions to Veterans, transitioning military members, and National Guard and Reserve Members.
