It's OSCAR Weekend again but this time Cohab (Workplace of the Future/ Co-working space) based in Shreveport) and Alumni Arts Presents (a soon to be launching Shreveport-based Occupational Institute & Feature Production Studio) have partnered up and are putting on AAP's first 'Kickoff' Workshop in Shreveport celebrating the golden awards weekend by having recruited top-tier, talented above-the-line speakers and instructors: possibilities include Jack Sholder (Nightmare on Elm Street 2, The Hidden, Alone in the Dark), Jim Hayes (Austin Powers, The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, Lost Highway, Mr. Brooks, Panic Room), Phillip Brooks (Ruby and the Dragon, This is a Microphone), Jeffrey Goodman (Last Lullaby), Benjamin Brant Bickham (Don't Kill It, Girls Gone Bayou, Jeff Who Lives at Home, White Rabbit), Cheryl Wicker (God's Not Dead), Glen Grefe (Snitch, Nutcracker), Susie Labry (Scream Queens) and many more which will train and drill you for the reality of the ferocious fight on the front lines of the modern distribution sales war.

Our mission and branding statement says it all: “Level Up to Gold”! AAP empowers the students to acquire their unique set of skills through “on the job” feature film production. Upon successful completion of the program, they are "leveled up" with industry feature film credit and AAP's Golden Guild membership, which includes actual royalties from the distribution and sales of it 'Golden Ticket' studio brand, plus labor referrals for future industry work.
