NSC Plans Chinese New Year Event

Oswestry, United Kingdom, January 31, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Level 3 Travel and Tourism Students at North Shropshire College (NSC) are organising an event for Chinese New Year, the students will be assisted by NSC’s Hospitality and Catering students at Scholars Restaurant as part of their module on Planning and Managing a Hospitality Event. Travel and Tourism lecturer, Louise Gregory, commented, "Last year the students held a successful Indian themed night, it is hoped that this year’s event will prove just as popular."

The Travel and Tourism students had to pitch their ideas for a themed event to Scholars staff and students, they have been tasked with creating the decorations and promoting the event to potential customers. This year’s event is timed to coincide with Chinese New Year. Louise when on to say, "It is an excellent opportunity to be working in conjunction with the staff and students from Scholars Restaurant and provides the students with practical experiences to enhance their learning."

The Chinese New Year themed night will be taking place on Monday 8th February from 6pm, it’s just £6 per person for two courses or £8 per person for three courses. You can book your place now by calling the Scholars Restaurant on 01691 688053 or the College Reception on 01691 688000.
